This National Certificate (NC) Childhood Practice provides a broad-based study of the range of topics, both theory and practice based, related to early education and childcare that are required for progression to areas of study or employment at support worker level within a childhood practice and childcare setting.
The 2 week fully funded course includes:
8 days of vocational training, 1:1 mentoring feedback and support sessions
Working towards industry recognised certificates
Introduction to childcare, NQ Proces of playing including Play types, Play theories and Play spaces, Child Protection, Personal development and communication.
Meet the employer session with introduction to Early Years and Afterschool Club roles and settings
1:1 CV building and interview preparation
Support with job applications
